20 years ago, we decided to focus our supply chain automation ideas on the underserved non-acute care market. We saw the tremendous need to replace and improve long-standing processes, especially as this segment was moving into a phase of rapid expansion. The solutions that were available at that time were either very expensive (like large ERP systems), not made for this space (designed for large hospitals or health systems – or other industries altogether), unable to integrate with existing in-house systems, or just too difficult to deploy and use.
Some probably thought we were crazy to focus here! The market wasn’t well-organized. The customers were too small. There was no way to price a solution that would fit in this segment. But instead, we found that the organizations in this growing segment of healthcare agreed with our approach and today more than 15,100 facilities use Envi to streamline their purchasing, contracting, inventory and reporting needs. We’re so proud to serve this amazing group of loyal Envi customers.
As we look back on the journey that brought us here, we see so many advancements that have happened over the past two decades. Our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and especially customer satisfaction has solidified our position as the market leader. Today we not only celebrate our achievements, but we also look forward to the future, driven by the same collaborative spirit and dedication that have defined the first 20 years.

When we started our journey 20 years ago, the landscape of non-acute care was a different world. Supply chains were being managed with complex, often manual processes, fraught with inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and burdensome workarounds. Our vision was to create a community that could develop and share new levels of best practice processes, supported by a technology infrastructure that could transform how non-acute care facilities managed their supply chain.
